The 2012 WKHS Cross-Country 21st Annual Labor Day 5K

Runners and walkers, please join us for a simultaneous start of our 21st annual event held in the beautiful neighborhood of Worthington Hills in northwest Columbus.

The course is a relatively flat and fast loop that starts and finishes at Worthington Hills Elementary School. Drinks and refreshments will be available after the event, and two water stops will be provided along the course.
 

There will also be a silent auction where spectators and athletes are invited to place bids on a variety of goods and services. Bidding will end at the conclusion of the Awards Ceremony.




 

Race Information

Location: Worthington Hills Elementary, 1221 Candlewood Drive Columbus, OH 43235

Schedule of events:
  • 7:30 am: Packet pick-up will be available
  • 8 am: Race day registration will begin & Silent Auction will open
  • 9 am: 5K race
  • 10 am: Awards Ceremony
  • 10:30: Silent Auction bidding will end
Entry fee: $20 through August 27th, $25 thereafter through race day

Packet pick-up: Packet pick-up will be available on the morning of the race, beginning at 7:30 am. The first 200 race participants will receive a t-shirt. All participants will be eligible for lots of really great raffle prizes drawn from the bib numbers after the race. You must be present to win.

Awards: The top overall male and female runners will receive plaques. The top three men and top three women in each age division will receive ribbons. Age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up
