About The Cardinal Tag Team Relay

Join us for The Cardinal Tag Team Relay! A unique team (one of a kind) format that is guaranteed to add an additional element of fun (and give every runner a chance at a PR)!

HOW IT WORKS: Teams of two athletes are formed.  The combined times are added together to determine the finish time.  The combined ages and team make up determine the classification, (e.g., coed team under age 50). Individuals are welcome!

The course is a very fast out and back with a downhill finish. The scenic course runs by Jeffrey Mansion, the Governor's Mansion and some of the most beautiful homes in Bexley. A professionally measured and timed 5k course by Premier Sports.

We'd love to challenge all local high school cross country teams to come out and compete!

  • Entry Fee:
    • Tag Team Relay: $25 (per registrant) now through Friday, November 4th. $30, November 5th through race day.
    • *When you sign up as a team member if you are the first of your team to register you must create your team (on the organization line, click create a team) and the second team member will then select that team from the organization drop down menu after the team name has been created. There will also be an additional question that requires you to identify your team name again.
    • Individual 5K: $25 now through Friday, November 4th, $30, November 5th through race day.
  • Awards:
    • Awards will be presented to the top 3 finishers/teams in each division; male, female, coed teams and individual.
    • Awards in 3 age groups <50, 51 to 80, >80
    • There will be a post race awards ceremony at approximately 10:30
