On Saturday May 15th, get ready for summer fun by walking or running for your health at the beautiful OSU/COTC Newark Campus in the Second Annual Spring Fitness 5K presented by:

Details

  • Race day registration opens: 8:00AM
  • Start time: 9:00AM
  • Location: OSU/COTC Newark Campus - 1179 University Drive - Newark OH 43055
  • Parking will be at Adena Hall and the parking lot off of Sharon Valley Road
  • Entry Fees:
    • $20 through May 3rd
    • $25 May 4th through race day
    • Proceeds benefit Citizens for MR/DD

  • Tee-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 racers. There will be plenty of post race snacks.

  • Runners will start at 9:00 am; Walkers, those pushing those in strollers or wheelchairs start at 9:10 am

  • Early Packet Pickup will be at ES Weiant Center 116 N 22nd Street; Newark, Ohio on Thursday May 13th from 1-6 pm or packets can be picked up day of race starting at 8:00 am at shelter house

Awards

Awards will be given to the top three finishers as well as the winners in the following age groups: 15 and under,16-19,20-29, 30-39, 40-49,50-59, and 60 and older
