About Run and Walk for Thought

BRAIN INJURY ASSOCIATION RUN AND WALK FOR THOUGHT 2010

Please join the Brain Injury Association of Ohio for our fourth annual Run and Walk for Thought on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Fred Beekman Park on the OSU Campus.  Details follow under "Quick Facts."

All proceeds from the event will be used to assist and educate families who are living with traumatic brain injury as well as to support a program of brain injury prevention and advocacy for the citizens of Ohio.
There are an estimated 227,000 Ohioans living with long term disability due to TBI.  Brain injury is the LEADING cause of death and disability in children and young adults in the United States.  In addition, the Brain Injury Association has extended its services to those veterans who have returned to us having sustained this "signature injury" of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflict as they strive to resume life in their home communities.
