About Miles for Smiles

  • Ectodermal Dysplasia effects 7 in every 10,000 births. Those afflicted have:
  • Dental Problems - Kids with Ectodermal Dysplasia are often missing all of their teeth or their teeth are reduced in number. Teeth that are present are widely spaced, tapered , or malformed.
  • Cooling Problems -Some individuals affected by Ectodermal Dysplasia do not perspire. Their sweat glands may function abnormally or not have developed at all. Patients must wear a “Cool Vest” to help keep their  body at a safe temperature during physical activity.

  • Entry Fee: $20.00 before FEB 28 - $25.00 thereafter and race day registration

    • 14 & under, 15-18 ,19-24, 25-33, 34-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-55, 56
