About The Licking Memorial Run For Your Health 5K

Licking Memorial Health Systems exists to Improve the Health of the Community. The objective of the “For Your Health” 5K Run and Fun Walk is to offer a community event that encourages a healthy lifestyle. The Dawes Arboretum is the perfect setting for a 5K race and a one-mile fun walk.

You may choose to participate in the 5K Run (registration fee) or the One-Mile Fun Walk
(no registration fee).

• Date: Saturday, August 7, 2010
• Location: The Dawes Arboretum, 7770 Jacksontown Road, Newark, Ohio 43055

• Time: 8:30am 5K start time; 8:40am Fun Walk start time, registration begins at 7:30am
• Entry Fee:
  • 5K Registration Fee: $15 through July 30th; $20 July 31 through race day
  • Fun Walk Registration Fee: Free, there is not online registration for the walking event, walkers must fill out a paper entry form and mail it in to this address:

• Awards:
  • Top 3 Male and Female Overall, and Top Male and Female in each age division.
  • Chip Timing Service will be used for race results.

  • Race day registration starting at 7:30am
• Race Packets
• Those registering early may pick up their packets on Thursday, August 5,
  or Friday, August 6, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Star Power Running, 1845 West Main Street, Newark, or at The Dawes Arboretum on the day of the race, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
